Moose Lake is a small town just off of Interstate 35 nestled along the Northwest shore of Moosehead Lake. Lake Place Gallery is found on Lakeshore Drive which is a winding road that attracts walkers and joggers who are enthralled by the beauty of the water. In the stillness of the morning, the lake attracts eagles, blue herons, loons, wood ducks, mallords and occasionally the silence is broken by the splash of a fish coming through the water's surface. In the evening Moosehead Lake reflects the ascending moon as the town goes quiet. Not only an ideal artist oasis, but a perfect location for those who love recreation as well. Bike trails and ATV trails are a great way to discover adventures just beyond the city. Moosehorn River begins to widen just a half a mile down the trail. There you will find fishermen casting their line over the bridge while kayakers and canoers meander downstream. In town, we have several locally owned restaurants, a specialty coffee shop, gift shops and even a couple art galleries.
